There's Blood In My Phlegm

Immerhin bequemer als laufen...

The only problem at the volunteer house in Mafinga is that you always run about 45 minutes in the place if you need to run errands. But who knows, maybe it is but yes also the advantage due to its remoteness.
Yet it is of course always very stressful to deal with this walk, especially since there is still a mountain on.
But not on a day when we in the village below Godwin, a friend, met, who was there with his car. Godwin is a former graduate Mafinga, that formed in the area of renewable energy, which now tries to bring up their own business in the area.
He had not a great car, only a Japanese version of a golf estate, actually designed for 5 people. Actually ... but no matter.
We nunmahl 10 people plus Godwin were closer together, we had a little bit.
The two who sat together in front on the passenger seat, had it still reasonably comfortable. The four people on the rear bench is basically not a problem. It becomes difficult only when have to squeeze in the trunk to 3 people and one person even right across the car was ... Pole Carlotta.
Despite the lack of space we were still well protected and rested in the volunteer house at ...

Eine abenteuerliche Busfahrt.

If you want to travel longer distances in Tanzania you take the best coach. You get decent tickets, has a place for themselves, sometimes even get a soda donated and usually arrives at its destination with relative ease.
Mafinga On the journey from Dar es Salaam that was unfortunately not the case. From
Mafinga there is only a direct connection to Dar es Salaam, the Mafinga Express.
The leaves from the central bus station, so it is unfortunately the volunteer house about 45 minutes away on foot. However, since a friend from Dar es salaam was accidentally with his car in Mafinga, he could bring us down in the morning at half past 8 in two carts in the city - so the plan.
Meanwhile, came from the rear cars and buses more and more onlookers who wanted to watch the fire from the Middle and retreated only when a large explosion with associated fire ball a little. could then
After the truck was nearly burned out the first 30 cars to pass each of two directions - unfortunately our bus had the number 31 Therefore we had to wait a half hour until the fire brigade had won but then with foam to fight the fire.
So sit back, sleep and wake up again in Dar es Salaam-nothing there. Even after 20 minutes when we had arrived in Morogoro first end to the trip because our bus was broken.
Naja, 2 Stunden Fahrt und nochmal 3 Stunden Stau, diesmal ganz ohne Unfall einfach only the usual rush hour traffic in Dar es Salaam. Finally we came
so until about midnight exhausted in the volunteer house. Exhausted, but happy and with great appetite for the already finished, prepared by Asia, the good soul of the house spaghetti.

The Example Of Thank You Letters *

Heiligabend

I had told so many times in advance so proper Christmas spirit could not bear with me, I was quite surprised when I evening on 24 sat there and it felt like Christmas.
The day itself started very poorly to as Christopher had been up all night - not because of the anticipation of the presents but because of malaria. So needed after a somewhat hectic Christmas breakfast with bread and honey Raphael and drive it first with the motorcycle to the hospital in Iringa. We
other volunteers spent but a very, very typical Christmas Eve. Partly it was with saw and ax in the forest around a Christmas tree to beat. We even found a conifer and did not have to fall back as the advent of a palm tree.
lunch was then chocolate, sweets and a homemade shooting star decorated and everything prepared for the mess. Afternoon were then played cards and of course watched Pippi Longstocking - Michel had Lönneberga unfortunately no one there. At 5
clock it was dann in die Weihnachtsmesse.
Es war also ein gemütlicher und friedlicher Abend, dank der Lage Mafingas in the highlands it was actually really cold and I was happy with my battered wool sweater.
Only my family I was missing a little bit, because it was a strange feeling to be able to do them suddenly only over the phone Merry Christmas ...
